This months tournament ended on a fantastic nail biting end....
With the 2 leaders neck and neck all night, in the end they can be only one.

The prizes were Yu-gi-oh T-Shirt, Mat, Deck protectors
Interest facts were that Zombie cards although not very powerful they will never die and keep coming back in force.....

Winner of the tourament
"Exploding fun!" says Robert, "we have the winners of the double match"
Robert & Micheal made a great double act and beat off furious competition for the prize.
The Singles match was played between 17 contestants on the night.
Names where drawn from a hat and players drew cards and went into their matches.
The final was between Cheng and Sam with Cheng wining with a hand of monsters "Yubel", "Yubel Terror Incarnation", and "Yubel The Ultimate Nightmare". What a Hand!

The age group was from 10 - 19 and it was a friend amostphere.
We are still open to New members and have our second girl joining this week as well as 3 boys joining.

Beginner Club
This week from 5:30-7:00pm we are running a beginners club for YUGIOH.
In which you can learn to play the game, maybe you have a pack of cards and never played or want to learn about traps and spells.
Bring you own cards, or buy them on the night.
We have an expert on hand to train and advice you

From 7-9:30pm we have the main event the YUGIOH club
We had a good turn out last week and from the enquiry we are going to have a bigger turn out this week.
We have a tuck shop instore, selling sweets from 10p and drinks from 40p so you can continue you game play.
Location is still at Blackpool Marton Methodist

Open Night Blackpool's YuGiOh club
The doors opened at 7pm for the start of the first YuGiOh club.
Their were 14 players who joined the club on the night.
There were 2 YuGiOh experts on hand to assist and help, which will be a weekly theme.
The game playing was friendly and things got off to a good start with everyone being matched to a player.
The level of playing knowledge varied

We had 2 beginners taught by one of our specialist in YuGiOh, the 2 players had the latest 5DS starter deck with were brought on the night from the in store shop.
As to what the 2 thought of the game- "I will definitely be back, this week I am going to be learning to use the spell and trap cards more!"
The rest of the players started a Tourament at 8pm and will contine this next week.
